I love days like this....

Now Playing : "Mr Brightside" - The Killers

It is so nice out right now - perfect day for a road trip, which is good 'cause today I have to drive to Jaime's parents' place. She has an appointment with her knee surgeon tomorrow, and I'm going. It's funny - I never thought I'd voluntarily drive 3 hours to go to a doctor's appointment for someone else, but with her I want to be there. We're trying to figure out how to work things out around her surgery, because if it's this summer, she'll have to move home for rehab, and if it's during the school year next year, she'll probably lose a full semester, 'cause it'll be at least 2 months before she can move around well enough to go to school. However, if it's the summer after next year, we will have both graduated, and can move closer to the hospital so that I can get her to her physio appointments. The idea of moving into her parents basement for a few months until she can work again has also come up, which would be interesting (I think they like me - I'm not sure they like me THAT much).
Yesterday was our one year anniversary, which we really didn't make a big deal of, 'cause we'd gone out for dinner on Saturday night in celebration. So last night we ordered pizza (not a great idea actually, it makes us both sick) and watched "Degrassi: The Next Generation" with her roommate.
It's actually kind of funny right now, 'cause Briana is looking for a new roommate for next year, and so right now she's showing the apartment. Last night Jaime and I were sitting on the couch and some guy came to look at the apartment, and Briana was just like "And this is my roommate and her girlfriend", and we just said hi and sat there. She outs Jaime (and usually me as well) to everyone who comes in, and we don't even care anymore. I finally figured out I can't keep caring anymore, 'cause it puts my life on hold, and I don't want to keep doing that.
I really should be doing homework, I've been scoring intelligence tests for grade 10 students from local high schools, and I still have so much to do, but I'm just so easily distracted - so I think I'll go, 'cause I probably won't get much done over the next couple of days.
Oh, and I have a job interview on Thursday at a local call centre that pays really well, so I'm hoping I get it, 'cause then I can get some money put away for the fall - or possibly May, depending on how things work out.
