2005 IN REVIEW (Okay, I know it's late for this, I meant to post it earlier)

1. What did you do in 2005 that you'd never done before?
I got engaged, moved out of my parents' house and in with my fiance.

2. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I turned 23, and did absolutely nothing. My grandparents took me out for lunch, and I had to drive Jaime to work for 6am. That's it.

3. What date from 2005 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
July 15, the night I proposed to Jaime

4. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Probably moving out on my own.

5. What was your biggest failure?
Leaving university early and being one credit shy of my degree.

6. What is your biggest regret?
Not trying harder to get my degree - a 3 year degree has now taken me 5 years to get.

7. What political issue stirred you the most?
What else...gay marriage! I proposed to my partner trusting that we would someday be able to marry - I don't want some asshole taking that away from us.

8. What was the best thing you bought?
Jaime's diamond ring...

9. What countries did you visit?
Nowhere...but the next few years should be full of travel

10. What was the best book you read this year?
lol - Jaime & I read the 6th Harry Potter book together, I would have to say that was the best...and the saddest.

11. What was your favorite movie of the year?
Rent, by far

12. Where did most of your money go?
My apartment, bills, school, textbooks...the usual

13. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Getting engaged, moving in with Jaime

14. What song will always remind you of 2005?
Hmmm...anything by Bryan Adams I guess, 'cause I saw him in concert...I'm sure there are more...oh definitely anything by the Killers...that's all I got right now.

I would say happier

lol - probably poorer...not working this time and a LOT more responsibility

About the same I think

Naw...I was already there

Only one

Again, only one

21. Who was your bestest friends?
Aside from Jaime - Sarah, Sean, Court, Rachel, Holly

22. Who was the coolest new person you met this year?
Oh don't ask me that, my memory for who I met when is horrible!

23. Who did you have the most fun with?
Probably Jaime, just 'cause I saw her most

No

Nothing really

27. How did you spend New Year's Eve?
At Jaime's friend's place in Belleville - with her friend, his partner, another lesbian couple, Jaime's parents, and her friend's parents. It was surprisingly fun - and we all drank WAY too much - even the parents.

28. Did you keep your new year's resolutions last year, and will you make any this year?
No, not really - I don't typically make resolutions

29. What would you like to have in 2006 that you lacked in 2005?
Not much - a plan I guess, and hopefully a degree
