Worst summer ever...

So I'm alone this summer, Jaime is working at her parents' shop in B-Ville, and I only get to see her on weekends - if we can. I'm taking courses at both Trent and Fleming, trying to finish up my degree, - only 1/2 a credit to go, but it means my summer is all about school - otherwise I could be staying with Jaime at her brother's place.
Yesterday was my birthday, it started out horrible, but the rest of it went alright - not a lot of people remembered, but my grandparents took me out for lunch and my mom took me out for dinner after my night class, which was nice. Dad called the restaurant from out of town (he's on a business trip) and told them it was my birthday, and they brought me this fudge brownie ice-cream dessert with a candle in it, and the waitress was like "a little birdie told me it was your birthday, and by the way, your dad says hi" - it was actually really sweet. The lady at the driver's license place wished me a happy birthday too - which was kinda funny, 'cause I assumed she sees most people on their birthday.
My doctor forgot, I had to see her yesterday morning 'cause my medications have some really nasty side effects - I throw up all the time, I have no appetite, I've lost interest in things...one certain thing in particular...*ahem*. However my doctor isn't worried about the side affects...she was just like "mmhm...well those are common with those meds". I'm like "okay, my throwing up all the time may not inconvenience you much...but it bugs the hell out of me". I spent all of the night before last (read: the night before and morning of my birthday) with my head in the toilet. That was a blast. So next time I have a doctor's appointment I may have to yell at her to make her understand the side effects...oh well.
Anyhow, I'm off to class, I have one this morning that I HAVE to go to, and then I'm coming home, 'cause as usual, I feel like crap. I'll try to write more later.
